I just realised that we got extra goth points for seeing Peter Murphy in concert this weekend.
Aaand I probably also get Elder Goth points for knowing about goth points. And extra Elder Goth points for knowing about the Goth Code and having had one, back in the day.

Guessing from the various dieselpunk pinterest boards, tumblr blogs and the like that I have a look at, I am forced to conclude that most dieselpunks are:
1) female
2) in uniform
3) suffering from varying degrees of wardrobe malfunctions.
Of course, this may be due to the owners of said blogs. ;)

Yesterday I discovered my dragon voice. Nothing mystical about it, it’s just the voice I used when reading the parts of Dragon in Neil Gaiman’s Anansi Boys last night.
According to my girlfriend, that I’m reading it to, it sounds a bit like the voice I use for the cat in Coraline.
“He-llo,” it said. “Ding dong. You look remarkably like dinner.”
